Resting

The past couple weeks have been a blessing as we have been able to spend a week with the Yunginger family down on the "Outer Banks" and a week-end at" Charter Hall" on the Chesapeake Bay. This was a good time to reflect on the many ways we have seen the Lord working these past weeks, and to enjoy Ken having a little more energy. Though still struggling with some nausea and not sleeping well, he did a couple 10 mile bike rides, spent time walking on the beach, swimming in the pool and playing with Emma who makes us all laugh!
So we enjoy the simple things, a quiet walk, sitting watching the sun set over the water, and good conversation. It is said that when all else is stripped away we see Jesus most clearly, and we trust that he holds our future in his hands.
